Designing for a college’s real social account
I was a Social Media Ambassador for Wilmington College, working across design, photography and video for the college’s channels. Some posts I designed on my own. Others I helped shoot or put together with the team.

Homecoming countdown
I designed the countdown posters for Homecoming. I wanted them to feel like one campaign without making every post look the same, so I kept the typography, colours and overall direction consistent while changing the layouts and imagery between each post.
The posts went out one at a time over the weeks before Homecoming, so nobody ever saw them side by side. Each one had to work on its own and still look like it belonged to the set.

Beyond the campaign
More than graphics
Some ideas worked better as a graphic. Others needed a camera. Picking between the two was part of the job.
At a live event I got one pass at it and had to take what the moment gave me.
The Homecoming posters are my own design work. The campus and event posts here were made with the team, where I shot, edited or helped build the content rather than producing the whole thing myself.

Working on a live account
Designing for the whole account
The account already had a look before I got there, so anything I made had to sit next to the rest of it without clashing. That changed how I judged my own work. A poster I liked on its own was not automatically the right post to publish.
